Thank goodness for a nice tight dry barn! The sheep and bunnies are all snuggled up warm and dry in the barn. We are snuggled dry and almost warm in the house. We keep the furnace stock with the wood and the damper wide open but with temperatures in the single digits and wind chills of 20 below, it’s hard to get the house over 60 degrees.
Patty and the hamster are checking our lovely weather. It’s hard to say how much snow we’ve had because its drifting so badly. The plow just went by for the first time today and it looked like over 6″ plus drifts on the street.
We’re having fun cooking. Bread is rising and big pot of beans are on the stove. I’m making collards and hummus for Patty’s lunches. Kaylin and I washing wool for a friend to make cat beds. Patty is reading and relaxing. Just a good day to stay in!
