Merry Christmas! It is a balmy and sunny 50 degrees here in the foothills of the Western Mountains of Maine. Yes, it is white for the most part but warm enough to scrape the ice off the driveway.
Moosehill Pond looks really neat. The wind is blowing and the ice is heaving ever so slightly but the sun makes it look really awesome.
Marty and Mary Anne came over to help shear 4 sheep on Monday. It’s so funny! We take the sheep back to the rest and they act like they don’t know each other. Lots of head butting going on.
Today will be a restful day for us. We’ll spend time together knitting, reading and playing games. Tomorrow, let the work begin as we head toward spring lambing and growing season.
