Soap! I made a 5 lb brick of orange and clove soap today. It will be cured and ready to use by the Oquossoc Fall Festival on Sept 17. Next up: dish soap. I found a new recipe for dish soap bars. It has really good reviews but 'm going to experiment on it with friends before I sell it. I'll have it in mini ball jars so it's easier to use. It will be all natural but coconut oil based instead of lard. You just rub on it with a scrubber or wash cloth and then directly on what you're washing. I think it will be perfect for camping when water is in short supply. If it's a good recipe, I'll get some all natural brushes to use with it.
