Raw but skirted Columbia fleeces available! The wool is classified as medium wool with a spin count of 50s to 60s. The wool varies from 31.0 to 24.0 microns. Staple length of each fleece is approximately 3 to 4". The crimp, as seen in the photo, is extremely tight. This fleece produces a very bouncy soft wool great for wearing on the skin. It is very insulating and takes both natural and acid dyes extremely well. There will be a small amount of VM in the fleece as we do not coat our sheep but prefer them to live as naturally as possible.
Available: Bonita (shearling or first shearing and very soft!) 7lb, Lily @ 4lb, Lily @ 6lb, and Hank @ 7.5lb.
