Raw but skirted Columbia fleeces available! The wool is classified as medium wool with a spin count of 50s to 60s. The wool varies from 31.0 to 24.0 microns. Staple length of each fleece is approximately 3 to 4". The crimp, as seen in the photo, is extremely tight. This fleece produces a very bouncy soft wool great for wearing on the skin. It is very insulating and takes both natural and acid dyes extremely well. There will be a small amount of VM in the fleece as we do not coat our sheep but prefer them to live as naturally as possible. Message me if you would like partial fleeces.
