Rockin’ Sheep Farm’s Rockin’ Wraps!
Small: 7” x 8” Wrap half of a lemon, the end of a cucumber, half of an onion (Rockin’ Wrap won’t hold the smell), half of an avocado, a small bowl, carrot sticks or other snack items.
Medium: 10” x 11" Cover a bowl, half of a sandwich, baked good, cheese, or half of a cabbage or cantaloupe.
Large: 13” x 14” Cover a large bowl, pie dish, celery, cheese, sandwich, or half of a watermelon.
Bread wrap: 17” x 23” Great for wrapping bread: large enough for a large loaf of sandwich bread or specialty breads. This wrap is great for covering dough that is rising, an extra large bowl or casserole dish, and also serves as a dough mat for rolling out pie crusts, cookie dough or other baked goods.
Bag: 6” x 9” Great for holding just about anything or everything that will fit! Just fold over the top and the heat of your hands will seal it up! Clean just like the wraps.
WHAT ARE Rockin’ Wraps MADE OF?
Rockin’ Wraps are made of 100% cotton fabric, locally sourced beeswax, pine rosin, and a little bit o’ love.
HOW IS IT USED?
Use the warmth of your hands to wrap Rockin’ Wraps around a piece of food or over a bowl or casserole dish. When Rockin’ Wrap cools — within seconds — it holds its seal. Use your Rockin’ Wrap to wrap cheese, vegetables, bread, fruit, fresh herbs, and baked goods. Rockin’ Wrap is not recommended for use with raw meat.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY ROCKIN’ WRAP?
Wash your Rockin’ Wrap in cool water with a mild dish soap. (Avoid sources of heat, such as hot water and microwaves.) Air dry, fold and store in a drawer or in a basket on the counter. The beeswax has antibacterial qualities that help to keep your food fresh and allow you to use the Rockin’ Wrap again and again.
CAN I USE ROCKIN’ WRAP IN THE FREEZER?
Yes! Rockin’ Wrap keeps food fresh in the freezer for 2-3 weeks. Since your wraps are naturally breathable, we recommend you check on your food after this time to ensure its freshness. Great for freezing pizza dough and baked goods.
HOW LONG DOES ROCKIN’ WRAP LAST?
Rockin’ Wrap lasts for up to a year with proper care and regular usage. You'll know your wrap has reached the end of its useful life in the kitchen when it has worn thin and soft and has trouble sticking to itself. At this time, you can cut your wrap into strips and add to your compost pile, or use as a natural and effective fire starter.
WHAT SIZE IS BEST FOR MY NEEDS?
We produce several sizes of Rockin’ Wrap. We recommend starting with our Starter Pack which includes one each of our small (7"x8"), medium (10"x11"), and large (13"x14") wraps. Experiment with these in your kitchen to determine which size is most useful for you.
All wraps are made here at the farm. You will receive an assortment of prints as I buy my fabric in small quantities.
